Founded by Diane Burkhardt Valek in 2009, Stateside Right of Way negotiates for and acquires rights of way for both public projects (highways, water lines, sidewalks, etc.) and private (pipelines, utilities, etc.). We work hand-in-hand with landowners and our clients who are composed of cities, counties, water districts, gas pipelines, TXDOT, NTTA, and more.
Stateside has been responsible for all aspects of the right of way process, including detailed multiple alternative route cost estimates, cash-flow forecasts for survey, environmental, legal, demolition, acquisition, relocation, utility relocation, and construction. Stateside has chaired right of way meetings that maintained oversight and coordinated legal, survey, engineering, appraisals, titles, environmental and all pending pre-construction activities. On numerous projects, past and present, Stateside agents have presented to CEOs, board members and the public regarding projects and the challenges that can come with them.
